Where is Garmeh?
Somewhere in central desert of Iran which is called Dasht-e Kavir, Gatmeh is a little village in Khur and Biabanak county which is watered by a spring originated from a mountain. Garmeh has been housing travelers for many years as it used to be on the Silk road and was a pitstop.

Mesr desert in Iran is 420 km from Esfahan and 371 km from Yazd. Just like Garmeh, Mesr desert in Iran has its source of life and water from the mountains besides palm trees, gardens and orchards.

The next Yazd highlight we will drive to visit is a Zoroastrian Fire Temple which is called Chak Chak. If you don’t know, you’d better know that Zoroastrianism is an ancient religion and there are still followers of this religion in Yazd and Iran. This temple and lovely point of interest in Yazd is in the heart of a mountain a small cave from whose ceiling water trickles down and makes a trickling sound. Chak Chak means the tricking sound of water.
After visiting this marvelous Yazd highlight, it is time to drive to Kharanaq village for 45 minutes. While we are in this village we visit another sight in Yazd: Shaking Minaret.
